Dale Thompson will lead students in hand carving their own wooden spoon using traditional tools and techniques. The class starts with a discussion of wood types, an explanation of tools, and an overview of wood carving techniques. Dale will then lead the class in carving their spoons. All tools are provided to use during the workshop, with the option of purchasing to continue spoon making practice at home! Cut resistant gloves are available at class or are available through Amazon. Contact Jen at CAC for information on gloves.
